January Pause

Here we are again, not able to gather in groups for Yoga or fitness.  What a great opportunity to sit back, breathe, and celebrate. 

Whether or not you made resolutions for the New Year, perhaps you'd enjoy a space to reflect on the year just past. Taking time to pause and record a year's joys and sorrows, challenges and triumphs, as well as lessons, risks, surprises, and completions is a way of summarizing and integrating the ending of the year.

 Every day you’ll receive an email.  You’ll be given encouragement to breathe, set the day aside, and enter your inner realm.  There will be nudges towards spending a bit of time writing down your thoughts.  This is also a way to see if you like the idea of daily quiet time.  Notice I didn’t use the “M” word.  Many people have buttons around the “M” word.  I used to, as well.  Then I gave myself permission to not necessarily sit in silence.  

That changed everything.

Materials Needed: .  Chair to sit on, if the floor is less than comfortable for you. 

Writing implements, and paper or journal if you choose. (You might prefer silent contemplation instead.)

Time:   Your choice.  Material will arrive in your inbox in the morning; watch it anytime you choose:  best done when you feel relaxed and at ease.
