9:00 - 10:30 a.m.  Hatha Yoga  –  Mixed Level class (not for beginners) with some Sun Salutations; strength and flexibility poses; breathing and meditation practices, and some study of deeper aspects of yoga philosophy.  Downtown Courtenay location; contact Catherine for details.  14 classes, $154.00.  9-class punch card, $117.00 (EXPIRES DEC. 14/12). 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  Gentle Yoga  –  A good class if you’re new to yoga, or if you want a meditative practice which is soothing to your nervous system.  Some restorative posos may be included.  Downtown Courtenay location; contact Catherine for details.  Pricing same as 9:00 a.m. class above.

 

SATURDAY  Ongoing at Kingfisher Spa

8:30 - 9:30 a.m.Hatha Yoga –  This is a graceful series of stretches and postures that is both invigorating and calming. Modified for varying levels of ability.

9:45 - 10:45 a.m.Good Morning Yoga - As above, on Tuesday

3:45 - 4:45 p.m.  Gentle Yoga -Perfect if you’re just exploring yoga - a slow and gentle approach.

5:00 - 6:00 p.m.  Restorative Yoga - This relaxing practice uses a variety of props to support you in resting deeply.  You’ll leave class feeling calm and refreshed.
