Outdoor yoga raises $280 for Kus-kus-sum
Thanks once again to the community-minded participants of August's outdoor Yoga classes.
We raised $280.00 in support of the Kus-kus-sum project.
Thank you for helping Project Watershed unpave paradise.
As part of their Estuary Stewardship, Project Watershed has committed to the restoration of the Field Sawmill site. They have been given a name for the site by the K’ómoks First Nation and are now calling it Kus-kus-sum.
Their vision is to create vibrant and productive habitat and connect it to Hollyhock flats, which is adjacent to the site and one of the most productive areas in the Estuary. It’s a big job and it’s going to a take a lot of work.
